If you need to change your email address follow the steps below:
- Open the top right side menu and click on Account Management
- Go to the Profile Settings page
- Navigate down to Email and click on the Edit button
- Follow the instructions shown to proceed
- Open the message you will receive to your current email and click on the link there to proceed with the change
- Enter the new email address
- You will receive a confirmation message at the new email address to complete the operation
Notes
Confirmation messages may end up in Spam or Junk mail folders.
I no longer have access to my email address
If you no longer have access to the email box associated with your Docsity account, contact us by submitting a request indicating in the subject line “Change email” and specifying in the description:
- username associated with Docsity
- your email address currently associated with Docsity
- new email address
- reason for the email change
- approximate date you created your account
To protect your security, processing your request may take up to 48 hours. We may require you to send us additional details to confirm your identity.
